One Broken Device All Semester

Ready to stop spending money on device repair and replacement?

Columbia Middle School in Aurora, Colorado, had the worst device breakage rate in the Adams-Arapahoe 28J District.  Significant expenses on device repairs and replacements were unsustainable and forced them to re-evaluate their model and to make a change.

The district decided to:

  • Keep devices in classrooms
  • Not let devices travel between rooms
  • Assign students a device in each class
  • Store and charge devices in color coded PowerGistics charging stations

By eliminating the travel of devices to and from homes and storing them in the classroom in PowerGistics Towers, Columbia Middle School reduced device damage by over 90%.

“We went from multiple devices a week coming in for repair to one a semester.”
